Discover Our Mission
About PATH
School-based health care is a powerful investment in the health and academic potential of children and adolescents.
Pender Alliance for Total Health delivers convenient, accessible, and wide-ranging primary and mental health care services to students where they already spend most of the time: in school. At the heart of our model is the partnership between the schools and the health centers that give or support the services offered to the students.
Our Commitment
Mission Statement
At PATH, our mission is to provide access to an Integrated System of Care for Pender County youth, their families, teachers, and staff. Our goal is to inspire and enable people to take control of their health and well-being.
We are committed to providing comprehensive services recognizing the importance of treating the whole child. Physical, mental and social-emotional health, are also integrated with other social determinants of health.
With our School-Based Health Centers and integrated care approach, patients get seen the same day and parents don’t have to leave work and try to get an appointment with a doctor. Students miss less school and parents often don’t miss any work.
